Akasha is the Sanskrit word meaning space or sky. Within Hinduism it is one of the 5 elements (pancamahabhuta), a others existence prthivi 'earth', apa 'water', agni 'fire' and vayu 'air'. Inside paganism and Wicca, it is a unifying energy that is inherent around each residing animal on the planet, & all told of the Tetrad elements (earth, air, a water supply, & fire) that produce higher a natural globe when i personally understand it. On the pentagram, akasha is assigned to a fifth top point, and the "other" element. In essence these are spirit: the man spirit & soul, & a completely-all-inclusive spirit and energy of the Goddess and God.

Too known as quintessence, aether or sacred sound.
